General Martok got an episode to explore his reaction to the whole thing, but Bashir's was largely ignored which was a shame because of the whole genetically engineered stuff that came out later.
Anyway, I don't want to get all rambly about DS9 in your journal, so I'll just say that your story was great and be done.
